Pricing

Every project is different, so every quotation is different too.

I’m happy to tailor my service by bringing together elements of different types of editing to meet your needs. Before providing a price, I’ll ask some questions about what you want to gain from the work and have a look at the text, if it’s available.

When pricing a project, I consider:

• the number of words in the text
• the scope of the work (for example, the level of editing and the number of revisions)
• your timescales
• the complexity and quality of the original text.

I can provide more than one option for you to choose from, so you can see how different levels of editing will affect the price.

As a guide, my rates start at £30 per hour, and the number of words I’m able to edit per hour will depend on the service you would like and the quality and complexity of the text.
